Flyl

Description

Although relatively docile compared to most crytures, Flyl can be quite destructive when circumstances align. A herd of Flyl will tend to flock in the direction of storm clouds, and given their lack of sustainable flight, this means that they end up trampling through the countryside, with no regard for any crops that wind up in their path. Keeping Flyl populations in check to minimize such incidents is a constant struggle for conjurers of Rootrun and other settlements on the plains. This behavior puzzles many magi, due to Flyls' weakness to lightning, but some suggest that the light charge in the air gives them an intoxicating buzz that they find pleasant.

Combat

Flyl are swift and strong on offense, and they make good use of these traits in battle. Each one will use their Taser and Vortex powers to charge from foe to foe, giving their enemies little chance to pin them down or retaliate. If they feel that they're in danger, they will look for a place that's inaccessible to non-flyers and resort to ranged attacks from a safe position.
