Magmant
Description
Magmants are consummate nest builders, and are often found working in mated pairs. As one burrows out a cavernous lair, their partner clears rubble from behind, often bearing much greater loads than their size would suggest is possible. Along the way, they will populate the lair with edible subcrytures for their own offspring, or in hopes of attracting their younger kin to guard the lair. Once Glarvas and Ignalis settle in, they expand the lair with meandering tunnels, as they chew through the stone indiscriminately.
Combat
Magmants take a similar approach to combat as Ignalis do, engaging multiple foes in melee with blast powers. They do display a higher level of pack tactics, however, and will use their younger allies to get flaking bonuses and box in mobile enemies. They are also cunning enough to use their burrowing ability to set up surprise attacks on intruders.
