Zorb

Description

A Zorb is the master of its hive, directing the Yorbs and Florbs from a central lair, usually where the largest Slopeye spawning pool is. Although each Zorb claims its own lair, their hives are often connected, and they visit each other freely. Zorbs rarely leave their hives, usually only doing so to hunt down serious threats to their kin. In such circumstances, they always travel with at least one Slugamush in addition to a whole entourage of lesser crytures.

Combat

Zorbs lead from behind, usually picking a single target to focus their fire on, utterly crippling it while their melee underlings surround and destroy the foe. They typically rely on their younger brethren to control and cripple other enemies as they focus on their chosen prey. A zorb doesn't fret about getting into melee combat due to its relatively high defenses, plus the survivability it gains from Anomaly class powers.

Eye Roller V
  • This cryture has five eyes that can detach from its body and roll around independent of it with a Speed equal to this cryture's Speed. The cryture can still see through the eyes, but if it's their last eye, it takes penalties for blindness unless an eye can see its body.

Levitation III
  • This cryture takes no movement penalties from terrain. This cryture can ascend vertically up to 2 spaces above the ground and move through the air at its normal Speed.

Nightvision
  • This cryture takes no penalties for being in darkness.
