Crafting
To craft an item, spend the materials and essences in the relevant entries, then take a Labor Action to make a talent check. Successes are cumulative, so a character may take multiple actions to complete the item. However, A critical failure destroys the item, along with any components.

When crafting an item, Properties can be added to the base recipe to modify the product. A character can add 1 property for each level they have in the Profession. Each Property modifies the Difficulty and Complexity of the recipe by an amount that's specified in the entry.
A conjurer may also have their crytures help with crafting the item. To do so, choose a Class from each attuned cryture. Each cryture contributes 1 essence of that class's type per level to the recipe.

A character knows all 0-level recipes in their professions. They also gain a new recipe each time they gain a level, and can spend experience to learn additional recipes.
