The Mechanics of Time

Timekeeping

Time in Crytures operates on several gamified "layers," with each one having its own turn structure and actions.

​

​Tactical Time

  • ​Tactical Time passes at a rate or 6 seconds per round. 

  • Tactical Turns consist of a Major Action and a Minor Action, or a single Concentrated Action.

​

​Strategic Time

  • Strategic Time is ambiguous, passing at a rate of 10 minutes to 1 hour per round. 

  • Strategic Turns consist of a Focused Action and a Passive Action.

​

​Passing Time

  • Passing Time moves at a rate of 1 day per round.

  • Passing Turns consist of a Labor Action an Idle Action, and a Rest Action.
